Glimpses from ‘A Genius & the Common Man’ - recent works by Shuvaprasanna - presented by Gallerie Nvya.

In the grand theatre of the 20th century, two titans redefined the cultural horizon: the revolutionary Pablo Picasso and the incomparable Charlie Chaplin. While Picasso dismantled the canvas, Chaplin mastered the human heart.

Tracing a journey from the gritty streets of London to the luminous screens of Hollywood, Chaplin transformed silent farce into a profound social symphony and a defiant critique of fascism. In this evocative collection, Shuvaprasanna revisits the Little Tramp not merely as a cinematic icon, but as a timeless archetype of the everyman.

(Shuvaprasanna, A Genius and the Common Man, Charlie Chaplin art, Little Tramp, Pablo Picasso influence, Indian contemporary painting, figurative art, narrative painting, social commentary in art, satire in art, human condition, dignity and resilience, acrylic painting, expressive gestures, cinematic influence in art, modern masters inspiration, art and society, archetype of the everyman, contemporary Indian artist)
