Spend an exploratory evening with us at Vistaar this Saturday, and witness the magnificence of light through use of chemicals to create the beautiful blues of Cyanotype printing on fabric and paper.
Cyanotype Printing is a photographic printing process that was developed in the 19th century to cheaply and efficiently produce architectural/ mechanical drawings. This technique relies on the reaction of chemicals from exposure to sunlight. Today, it's used to create abstract or nature-inspired print on paper and textiles each resplendent in a vibrant cyan!

Trove Experiences is thrilled to collaborate with Vistaar Art Studio to bring you a Woodcut Printmaking experience. Let us take you back into time to one of the oldest printing techniques known to humans. Under expert guidance, you will learn the tools and techniques needed to carve your very own woodblock and make interesting prints using it. Let your inner creativity flow to create your own woodcut art for your beautiful home.

Jyoti Bhatt (b. 1934) is a Vadodara-based artist whose iconic works are inspired by his extensive travel through and photo-documentation of rural India. Adopting traditional motifs and aesthetics, he is considered a pioneer of the modernist movement. He is the recipient of many prestigious awards internationally including the Padma Shri (2019). His work is in numerous international collections, including the Museum of Modern Art (New York), The Smithsonian Institution (Washington D.C.), The British Museum (London), and the Museum of Art & Photography (Bengaluru).
