School Students Summer Program (SSSP): 9 Students

The first batch of the IUCAA astronomy camp, which consisted of 48 students and 9 students of SSSP, who worked under the leadership of IUCAA members, concluded successfully. Students enjoyed the experience and experiments they performed during the camp.

Inter-University Centre for Astronomy & Astrophysics will organize a Study Hub of the Gravitational Wave Open Data Workshop 2026 in the ACE IUCAA building.

**The workshop is only open to individuals residing in Pune.** Preference will be given to postgraduate students.

The Study Hub will be held from 25 - 26 April, 2026, between 09:30 - 17:30 IST.

Registration for the Study Hub is free, and participants and expected to bring their own laptops. Registration will be open till 19 April, 2026. Selected participants will be notified via email.

✨ Physics of Galaxy Formation

Duration: 8th to 24th June 2026
Venue: IUCAA, Pune

🔴Deadline: 20th March 2026

We are pleased to announce a new course titled Physics of Galaxy Formation, to be held at IUCAA. It will be a two-and-a-half week immersive course exploring the physical processes that assemble and shape galaxies.
The course is open to college and university faculty members, post-doctoral fellows, and research scholars. Exceptional M.Sc. students working on projects related to galaxy formation may also be considered.
This course is equivalent to a refresher course as per UGC guidelines.
