What happens when a stone reveals itself only when the ring leaves the hand?

𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼’𝘀 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝙀𝙧𝙖 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 is a bold sculptural piece in oxidised sterling silver, with moving wire elements and a 12 mm blue synthetic sapphire set in an unexpected, inverted position.

With its pointed shape facing upwards, the sapphire challenges the usual way of seeing a stone. What is normally hidden becomes part of the work’s quiet surprise — a secret architecture of light, movement, and discovery.

📍 On display at the gallery as part of 𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧.

If you are enjoying this long weekend in the region, don’t miss the opportunity to visit Asolo and discover our new exhibition 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿.

The exhibition explores the use of different materials in contemporary art jewellery — from marble, glass, wood, leather, recycled plastic, resin, and metals — through the new works of 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼, 𝗘𝗹𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝘂𝗲𝗿, 𝗨𝘁𝗲 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮.

A beautiful opportunity to experience how matter can become structure, colour, movement, memory, and poetry.

𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮 | 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿

Federica Sala’s work pushes materials into unexpected territories.

Working with 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀, she challenges our expectations of weight, fragility, resistance, and transparency. In her hands, materials traditionally associated with architecture, sculpture, and decorative arts become intimate, wearable, and deeply contemporary.

Her work is a true exploration of the boundaries of matter: marble appears delicate, glass gains presence, and the body becomes the space where these tensions come alive.

Federica Sala was awarded the 𝗔𝗚𝗖 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, selected by 𝗕𝗿𝘆𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝗺𝗽, an important recognition of the strength and originality of her practice.

We are proud to present her work in 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, our new exhibition dedicated to five female artists redefining the expressive possibilities of material.

𝗘𝗹𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝘂𝗲𝗿 | 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿

Ela Bauer’s work investigates resin as a space of colour, depth, and transformation.

Through layers of pigments, transparency, and form, she creates three-dimensional works that feel almost suspended between painting, sculpture, and jewellery. Her use of resin is remarkably original: colour becomes volume, surface becomes depth, and matter becomes a field of visual discovery.

The piece presented in this carousel was awarded the 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗳𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗵, one of the most prestigious recognitions in the field of contemporary jewellery.

We are proud to present this new Ela Bauer’s work in 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, an exhibition dedicated to artists who challenge the boundaries of material, structure, and perception.

𝗨𝘁𝗲 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 | 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿

Ute Kolar’s work is rooted in a distinctive dialogue between nature, colour, structure, and material experimentation.

Her combination of 𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 creates pieces that feel both organic and precise, tactile and architectural. The meeting of these materials gives her work a unique visual language, where warmth and surface, rhythm and construction, tradition and reinvention come together.

The piece presented in this carousel, that will be on display at the gallery, was selected for 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, one of the most important international exhibitions dedicated to contemporary jewellery.

We are delighted to include Ute Kolar in 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, an exhibition exploring how matter can become a field of resistance, transformation, and reinvention.

𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻 | 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿

Karin Roy Andersson’s work is immediately recognizable for its powerful material language.

Through her unique use of 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰, she creates works that move between softness and structure, tradition and contemporary urgency, craft and experimentation. Her pieces carry a strong tactile presence, while opening a reflection on material memory, sustainability, and transformation.

What makes her practice so distinctive is the way she brings together unexpected materials without neutralizing their differences. Instead, she allows contrast to become the strength of the work.

We are delighted to present Karin Roy Andersson in 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, an exhibition that brings together five female artists whose practices are rooted in profound material research and cultural multiplicity.

𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼 | 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲

Alice Biolo’s work stands out for its extraordinary technical intelligence and sculptural precision.

Her pieces often appear quiet at first glance, yet they reveal complex mechanical and material solutions upon closer observation. In her work, stones do not simply decorate the surface: they move, shift, respond, and become part of a living structure.

This ability to combine technical mastery with poetic sensitivity is what makes her practice so compelling. Alice Biolo was awarded the 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵𝘀’ 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, a recognition that reflects the remarkable refinement and inventiveness of her work.

We are delighted to present her work in 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, our new exhibition bringing together five female artists whose practices push the physical, conceptual, and poetic limits of their chosen materials.
