The film is 30 minutes long and is mostly in English with some interviews in Italian. Italian/English subtitles. Meet the film makers, Virág & Máté from Hungary who were here with Nigel for one month in summer 2021. Just one year before his death in July 2022. Virág & Máté were on honeymoon at the time but somehow managed to shoot this film which has been produced with the support of MOHOLY-NAGY UNIVERSITY OF ART AND DESIGN, Budapest and Pannonia Scholarship Programme.

Dear Friends,
Verrocchio Art Centre are hosting an art retreat and free holiday 16 - 24 July for mothers and children fleeing from the war in Ukraine . We've had the great privilege to work together with a Russian artist who set up a refugee centre in nearby Florence since 2022 . She thought Dad's Art centre would be the perfect place for them to take a holiday together.
We have some lovely volunteers to help, and I'm excited about the level of collaboration with the village, including a community effort to build a pizza oven out of clay on 19 & 20 July and the parish church is hosting a dinner in the cloisters as well as arranging some other fun events for the children.
Thank you so much for the donations already received. I'm still hoping to raise another £450 to cover the rest of the food that needs to be bought. See you in Casole soon!

Saturday, 13th April 2024 organised by the Comune di Casole.
A special event at Verrocchio Art Centre ( Il Centro d'arte Verrocchio ) Casole d'Elsa, 10am - 4pm Remembering Nigel - the Artist, Art Detective, Teacher and Friend.
10.00 - 12.00 Formal presentations by Prof. Silvia Ferri of Accademia di Belle Arti Venezia, Prof. Antonio Fiengo, Accademia delle Belle Arti di Venezia and Dott.ssa Patrizia La Porta, Director of Museo Casole.
Informal Recollections by friends and students of Nigel.
