“Little Treasures”: the annual 20×20 cm small format event returns to Bologna.

From November 21st to December 2nd, 2026, the Galleria De Marchi will once again host “Little Treasures,” an international art appointment now in its 19th edition.

The initiative is curated and organized by Paola Trevisan and her Trevisan International Art which, for nearly 25 years, has made has made quality and uniqueness of artistic research its mission, together with artistic sharing.

The event will bring together a selected group of artists from around the world: masters of very different techniques and languages, who will share a love for experimentation, creativity and a strong artistic personality.

I really enjoy, months later, free from tiredness and stress, reliving through photos the moments of the concluded exhibition. And taking the time to look with joy and satisfaction at the results of my work, but also of the creative work of all the participating artists. Giving life to a special edition of quality and international exchange 🙏

“Le Temps Suspendu” is a continuous theme and research for French artist Veronique Vallet. Since the first time I saw her paintings (in 2015), I felt a deep connection to her artistic expression, which elegantly and intensely explores that thin line between abstraction and the figurative. But also to her artistic, historical and philosophical analysis.

Veronique was twice recipient of a “Little Treasures” Excellence Award in the past, and more recently, she won a “Trevisan International Art Excellence” Award in the recent “Little Treasures” 2025.

“This time again, I try to express a metaphor for the fragility of life, beauty, emotion, originality and imagination,” says the artist.

I’m feeling very fortunate and privileged to have been actively collaborating with this artist, and being able to keep sharing a life and artistic journey through the years; more than ten by now.

On display: “Suspended Time, Yellow” and “Suspended Time, Red,” tempera on tracing paper, 20x20 cm. Year 2025.

I took advantage of the December 8th holiday long weekend to sleep and to dedicate time to my little family while preparing for Christmas.

I am now back at the office, happy and feeling renewed energy to catch up with all the wonderful artists who were part of “Little Treasures”.

Most of you know I don’t like sending group emails but only personal ones. So this catching up process might take a few days to reach each of you. 💌
