In DXSX, la figura umana si sviluppa in una doppia sequenza che mette in relazione due condizioni solo apparentemente opposte. In basso, una serie di individui attraversa lo spazio con andature incerte e gesti quotidiani, chi fuma, chi stringe un oggetto, chi sembra assorto nei propri pensieri. Le posture curve e il ritmo disallineato restituiscono una dimensione intima e malinconica, segnata dalla ripetizione. In alto, una fila di uomini in uniforme appare invece compatta e regolare, costruita per somiglianza e disciplina. Se inizialmente le due dimensioni sembrano contrapporsi, libertà e costrizione, l’opera ne rivela una tensione comune: entrambe rispondono a una forma di obbedienza.
Kage riduce la figura a ombra e presenza, riflettendo su una condizione collettiva in cui anche l’apparente libertà si inscrive in dinamiche di necessità.

In DXSX, the human figure unfolds through a double sequence that brings together two seemingly opposing conditions. Below, a series of individuals moves through space with uncertain steps and everyday gestures, some smoking, some holding objects, others absorbed in their thoughts. Their bent postures and uneven rhythm suggest an intimate, melancholic dimension shaped by repetition. Above, a line of uniformed men appears compact and regular, constructed through similarity and discipline. While the two registers initially seem to contrast, freedom and constraint, the work reveals a shared tension: both respond to a form of obedience. Kage reduces the figure to shadow and presence, reflecting on a collective condition in which even apparent freedom is inscribed within structures of necessity.
