🌸La primavera è arrivata e in Villa porta le Giornate FAI, con due giorni di aperture speciali. 🌼

📢E’ un fiorire di nuovi telentuosi ciceroni dalle scuole del territorio, che narrano storia e aneddoti di questa meravigliosa residenza veneziana.

😃Siete in molti in questi due giorni ad aver ammirato Villa Venier Contarini: speriamo abbia lasciato un bellissimo ricordo e che torniate con amici e parenti a rivederla, quando tra poco , ritornerà ad aprire con regolarità nei fine settimana.

✨ Villa Venier Contarini riaccende i ricordi ✨
Prima di tornare ad accogliervi tra i suoi affreschi, il parco storico e le eleganti architetture che la rendono unica, vogliamo fermarci un momento e ascoltare voi.
Dal 1953 al 1995 la Villa è stata casa, scuola, luogo di crescita e di vita grazie alle Suore Domenicane della Beata Imelda, che qui hanno fondato e guidato una scuola femminile.
Tra quei corridoi, sotto quei soffitti affrescati, nel silenzio del parco e accanto alla statua della Madonna con il Bambino, che ancora oggi veglia sul giardino, sono passate generazioni di ragazzi/e.

🏛️La Villa vi aspetta per salutare insieme questa stagione di visite, in una giornata davvero particolare: sarà l’ultima apertura stagionale e, come prima domenica del mese, l’ingresso sarà gratuito.

Chiudiamo questi mesi con grande gratitudine per i tanti visitatori che hanno varcato la soglia della Villa, condividendo con noi storia, bellezza e momenti speciali.

Come Psiche, dipinta sulle pareti di Villa Venier Contarini: nella quiete della notte accende una luce per ammirare il volto del suo amato. Un gesto dettato dal desiderio di conoscere… ma che la condurrà ad affrontare prove straordinarie.
La sua vicenda prende vita in un affascinante ciclo di dipinti seicenteschi, vibranti di colore e maestria.

🏛️ Villa Venier Contarini: cuore pulsante delle Ville Venete

Tra archi e porte che custodiscono secoli di storia, Villa Venier Contarini rappresenta uno dei luoghi più significativi per la tutela e la valorizzazione delle Ville Venete.
Sede dell’Istituto Regionale per le Ville Venete (IRVV), la villa è non solo un esempio straordinario di architettura e bellezza, ma anche un centro vivo di studio, conservazione e restauro.

Archi e porte aperte su un patrimonio che continua a raccontare il passato con lo sguardo rivolto al futuro.
Una di queste sale è dedicata ai restauri di Villa Venier e Villa Pojana, altra villa di proprietà dell’Istituto, anch’essa aperta al pubblico e testimone dell’impegno costante nel preservare la memoria e la bellezza delle nostre Ville Venete.

With its arches and doors that preserve centuries of history, Villa Venier Contarini is one of the most significant places for the protection and enhancement of the Venetian Villas.
Home to the Regional Institute for Venetian Villas (IRVV), the villa is not only an extraordinary example of architecture and beauty, but also a lively centre for study, conservation and restoration.

Arches and doors open onto a heritage that continues to tell the story of the past with an eye to the future.
One of these rooms is dedicated to the restoration of Villa Venier and Villa Pojana, another villa owned by the Institute, which is also open to the public and bears witness to the constant commitment to preserving the memory and beauty of our Venetian Villas.

Il rosso intenso delle foglie, i riflessi dorati dell’acqua e l’aria gentile di novembre hanno avvolto Villa Venier Contarini in un abbraccio di bellezza.
Chi ha passeggiato lungo la Riviera del Brenta o ha varcato i suoi archi nel fine settimana ha potuto respirare tutta la magia dell’autunno — quando la natura si fa poesia e accompagna con eleganza il silenzio della villa.
Ora Villa Venier Contarini si concede una breve pausa, in attesa di accogliere nuovamente i visitatori nel mese di dicembre, quando le sue sale torneranno a raccontare arte, storia e gusto:

🌿 Weekend d’arte, storia e gusto in Villa!
📅 Sabato 1 e Domenica 2 Novembre
Le sale della Villa si aprono per accogliervi in un’esperienza che intreccia arte, storia e cultura rurale.
Protagonista delle giornate è la mostra temporanea “I Percorsi del Gusto”, un itinerario affascinante dedicato al mondo agricolo e alle colture tra il XVI e il XVIII secolo, nel cuore della Repubblica Serenissima.
Attraverso documenti, oggetti e immagini, la mostra racconta la vita quotidiana intorno alla Villa Veneta, tra la magnificenza dei patrizi e la laboriosità delle classi rurali.
Un racconto dove la terra diventa il filo conduttore tra potere e fatica, lusso e lavoro.

The rooms of the Villa open their doors to welcome you to an experience that combines art, history and rural culture.
The highlight of the weekend is the temporary exhibition “I Percorsi del Gusto” (The Paths of Taste), a fascinating journey dedicated to the world of agriculture and crops between the 16th and 18th centuries in the heart of the Most Serene Republic.
Through documents, objects and images, the exhibition recounts daily life around the Venetian villa, between the magnificence of the patricians and the hard work of the rural classes.
A story where the land becomes the common thread between power and toil, luxury and work.

Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November, from 11:00 to 18:00 (last admission at 17:30).
