🍅🌱 Did you know that up to 25,000 tomato seedlings can be transplanted in just one hour?
We’ve just completed our tomato transplanting! 🚜
The work was carried out using this automatic transplanter, a highly efficient machine that can transplant three paired rows at the same time. It requires one operator on board and one or two people behind the machine to ensure everything runs smoothly. 👨🌾👩🌾
This is how the seedlings arrive at our farm: they come in trays of 228 plants each 🌱 and are then loaded onto a cart and brought to the machine.
Once there, they are ready to be transplanted. The trays are placed into the machine, where moving grippers automatically feed the planting system. ⚙️
The seedlings are then placed into the soil, and an irrigation drip line is laid between the rows at the same time. 💧 This ensures that, by the end of the working day, the young plants can receive water immediately and start settling into their new home. 🌿☀️🍅
