Choose your number…or rather, let chance choose for you.
For “EX-VOTO-TOMBOLA”, Thomas Hirschhorn introduces the logic of the tombola into the act of acquiring an artwork: each piece is numbered, and its acquisition is left entirely to a random draw.
Come and draw your number!Open to all visitors for the duration of the exhibition, until October 31. We're looking forward to seeing you at the gallery!

We are delighted to announce our participation in Oh La La! 2026 at Art Basel Paris, taking place on October 23–24. Under the artistic direction of Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, this year's edition explores the theme ‘Mythes et Légendes’ (Myths and Legends).

From foundational narratives and ancient mythologies to personal stories and contemporary fables, myths and legends have always played a central role in shaping how we understand the world. This year's theme invites us to consider myth not simply as a story from the past, but as a way of inhabiting the world, creating connections, and contributing to its re-enchantment.
For this occasion, we are delighted to present works by Veronica Bisesti and Tursic & Mille, whose practices reinterpret familiar images and historical narratives through a contemporary lens.

The works will be on view exclusively on October 23 and 24, offering a two-day opportunity to discover our presentation at our booth B49, as part of Oh La La! at Art Basel Paris.

In “storie del giardino”, Gianmarco Biele turns his attention to the details that usually remain at the edges of a painting: leaves, flowers, branches and fragments of vegetation.
Drawn from major works in art history, these overlooked elements become the starting point for a new body of work, where the garden is no longer a backdrop but a living, shifting presence.

Watch the full video on YouTube - link in bio - and don’t miss “storie del giardino” by Gianmarco Biele, curated by Mario Francesco Simeone.
Until October 31, 2026.

Today, we celebrate Selene Cardia and the pleasure of sharing this journey with her!
In her paintings, nature emerges through subtle variations of colour, texture, and gesture. Her practice unfolds through a continuous dialogue between intuition and repetition, where each mark contributes to a larger rhythm. The result is a body of work that invites us to slow down and discover the poetry of everyday moments.

Looking back at Selene Cardia’s first solo exhibition with the gallery, “Chiodi d’ambra”, in 2025, we are grateful for the moments and exchanges we have shared, and look forward to all that lies ahead.
Happy Birthday Selene! 🌸

Thomas Hirschhorn presents the “POST” works in close proximity, rejecting any system of hierarchy or classification.
Their accumulation evokes the density of an ex-voto wall: a constellation of autonomous gestures that, through proximity and repetition, form a collective field. Each work remains distinct, while simultaneously contributing to a larger, unstable whole.
Join us at the gallery and don’t miss the chance of participating to EX-VOTO-TOMBOLA, Thomas Hirschhorn.
Pick your number and take your chance! Only at the gallery, until October 31, 2026

Biele’s research moves through the history of representation, not through direct quotation but through fragments and echoes.
By bringing peripheral vegetal elements to the foreground, the artist questions the hierarchies through which images have traditionally been constructed and viewed.

“We are all creations of God, and we have to de-create ourselves.”
In this new video, Thomas Hirschhorn talks about EX-VOTO-TOMBOLA, his sixth solo exhibition at Alfonso Artiaco.

Around 300 "POST "works, originally shared on Instagram, are brought into the physical space of the gallery and transformed through the tombola, a game that makes the digital tangible, unpredictable and accessible.

Watch the full video on YouTube and discover the ideas behind EX-VOTO-TOMBOLA, on view until October 31.
