Nelle pietre e nei minerali, nei fossili e nelle ossa, che Mina Enowaki incontra come portatori di forze sottili e distilla in sagome elementari di pieni e vuoti, si struttura un vocabolario di forme che l’artista ingloba entro architetture tradizionali del design giapponese, come il fusuma e il noren, affinché lo scorrere di un soffio possa sostare anche solo per un istante e farsi materia.
In the stones and minerals, fossils and bones that Mina Enowaki encounters as bearers of subtle forces and distills into elementary silhouettes of solids and voids, a vocabulary of forms takes shape which the artist incorporates into traditional architectures of Japanese design, such as the fusuma and the noren, so that the passage of a breath may linger even if only for an instant and become matter.
