La collezione permanente può essere visitata gratuitamente previa prenotazione, secondo il desiderio del fondatore Achille Maramotti. Comprende diverse centinaia di opere d'arte realizzate dal 1945 a oggi, di cui oltre duecento in esposizione permanente, che rappresentano alcune delle principali tendenze artistiche italiane e internazionali della seconda metà del XX secolo. Fin dal 2008, poco dopo
l’apertura al pubblico, a fianco della collezione permanente si susseguono, con una programmazione sistematica, mostre e progetti commissionati ad artisti, negli spazi dell’edificio adibiti alle iniziative temporanee. La Collezione guarda al futuro dell’arte senza soluzione di continuità e con coerenza rispetto alla fisionomia di questa raccolta, con un’immutata attenzione all’evoluzione dei nuovi linguaggi artistici, in particolare alla pittura e all’interrogazione critica sullo statuto dell’opera d’arte. Inoltre, grazie a collaborazioni condotte nel corso degli anni, sono stati organizzati e presentati concerti, spettacoli di danza contemporanea, conversazioni a tema e incontri connessi ai progetti di arte visiva. The permanent collection can be visited with free admission and upon booking, according to the wishes of the founder Achille Maramotti. It consists of several hundred works of art that date from 1945 to the present, of which something more than two hundred are on permanent display as an in-depth presentation of a number of the central artistic tendencies, both Italian and international, of the second half of the 20th century. Ever since the opening of Collezione Maramotti, its permanent collection has been flanked by a systematic program of exhibitions and commissioned projects in the areas of the building which specifically function as venues for temporary events. The Collection looks ahead toward the future of art and sees it as a continuum consistent with the attention the Collection has always shown to the evolution of new artistic languages, especially in the area of painting and the critical investigation into the nature of the work of art. In addition, through collaboration projects developed throughout the years, events such as concerts, performances of contemporary ballet, lectures and conversations linked to visual art projects have been organised and presented.
