Far from a commercial gallery, is an open platform devoted to the young avangardes. It is involved, since the beginning, in exhibitions, publications and outdoor projects with museums and public spaces. t. Among the main collaborations in Rome we can remember: MAXXI Foundation, MACRO and Bilotti Museums but also Fondazione per l’Arte with several projects at IX Municipio Mandrione and Santa Rita Church, a multipurpose space inaugurated in 2004 by the Division of Cultural Policies. Since 2014 the gallery, together with L’ A Project Space, carries on a fixed art project in the Botanical Garden of Palermo, in order to realize some large environmental installations together with a permanent art collection. Operativa, thanks to some partnerships with publishers and art magazines like NERO, Yard Press, Arte e Critica, Inside Art and Mousse, realized several artists’ editions like books, catalogues, art graphics but also music products such as vinyls and others. Starting from 2015 Artissima Fair held in Turin, Operativa decided to present his artists in national and international art fairs through specific projects with a particular experimental characterization.
