CURRENT at Tang Contemporary Beijing 1st Space - Group exhibition - "Crowds Passing
Through One Another"
In a sense, this is not an exhibition of "works" so much as an exhibition of "passage." People pass through images, and images pass through people.
Sakarin Krue-On was born in 1965 in Mae Hong Son, Thailand, and currently lives and works in Bangkok, where he serves as Chair of the Art Department at Silpakorn University, Thailand's foremost institution for fine arts.
Regarded as one of Thailand's pioneering conceptual artists, Sakarin is often described as "guardian of Thai culture." He has gained international recognition for his innovative practice and has participated in numerous major exhibitions, including two editions of the Venice Biennale and Documenta 12.
