There is an hour on the slopes of Etna when the mist comes down through the pines and the whole mountain seems to hold its breath. Samantha Torrisi has spent years painting that hour.

🇬🇧 The first works by Max Serradifalco are now in the Nomad collection.

A visual landscape artist based in Palermo, in 2011 he conceived Web Landscape Photography, driven by a passion for nature and experimentation. Through this project he travels the planet virtually, using only satellite maps, in search of a new way of seeing the Earth.

His images are never manipulated. They reveal the drawings nature has already traced, hidden among deserts, bays, coral reefs and mountain ranges, waiting for an eye patient enough to recognize them.

🇮🇹 Le prime opere di Max Serradifalco sono ora nella collezione Nomad.

Artista visivo del paesaggio, vive e lavora a Palermo. Nel 2011, spinto dalla passione per la natura e per la sperimentazione, ha dato vita alla Web Landscape Photography: un progetto con cui attraversa il pianeta senza muoversi, servendosi soltanto delle mappe satellitari, alla ricerca di un modo nuovo di guardare la Terra.

Le sue immagini non sono mai manipolate. Rivelano i disegni che la natura ha già tracciato, nascosti tra deserti, baie, barriere coralline e catene montuose, in attesa di uno sguardo abbastanza paziente da riconoscerli.

Le sue opere sono passate dal Museo Riso di Palermo ai Musei Capitolini di Roma, da Manifesta 12 al padiglione del Bangladesh alla 58ª Biennale di Venezia, e oggi vivono in collezioni pubbliche e private.
