iSculpture (San Gimignano) was established in 2012 by Francesca Cundari and Patrick Pii, with the aim to promote both young and successful Italian sculptors. Our attention is mostly focused on the research of the new borders of the Italian figurative arts.Updated in taste and in the concept of "beauty", sculpture is perhaps the most complete art kind, in which matter and shape come together in a continuous challenge to renewal, without ever leaving a constant acquisition of consolidated parameters relating to balance and know-how.The works of our selected artists represent a significant example of contemporary Italian sculptures in the field of ceramics, bronze, alabaster, wood, marble and iron.Tradition and modernity merge together in the 14th century architecture and the renovation works, facilitating a timeless dialogue between the art works and the spectator.Its first location in San Gimignano, is today joined by a further exhbiting space in Casole d'Elsa (SI), at the border between the provinces of Siena and Pisa, crossed by international cultural and artistic fervors since many years ago.

Three figures, one shared balance.

In 𝑻𝒓𝒐𝒊𝒔, Curiá transforms the human figure into an essential form, where gesture and connection become more important than individual details. The patinated bronze, pure lines and subtly defined faces create a sculptural presence that transcends portraiture to express a universal human condition: our need to support one another.

Balance is never solely an individual achievement. It grows through the presence of others, through the ability to cooperate, embrace differences and find stability together.

This reflection takes on an even more intimate meaning within the family, where growing together means learning to support one another while respecting each person’s place and individuality.

𝑳𝑶𝑶𝑲𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑪𝑳𝑶𝑺𝑬𝑹 | 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒎𝒐 𝑳𝒆𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊 | 𝑩𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒈𝒆

Some artworks ask us to look closely before we can begin to understand them.

In 𝑩𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒈𝒆, paper becomes a material to explore: a surface that transforms, stretches, and seems to hold a silent tension.

The title evokes a bond, a constraint, something that holds us back. In the precision of Massimo Levati’s work, we can read this very ambiguity: the fragility of a delicate material and, at the same time, the strength of a gesture capable of cutting into it and transforming it.

Up close, the sheet loses its apparent simplicity. From a distance, every detail becomes part of a whole, leaving us with a question: where does connection end and constraint begin?

Perhaps it is in this space, between attraction and unease, that the artwork continues to speak to us.

In the dialogue between curator Valerio Dehò and Virgilio Rospigliosi, physics and philosophy become tools for reflecting on the possibility of repetition and the nature of difference.

Through gesture, material and variation, Rospigliosi brings these questions into his artistic practice, revealing how what appears identical can, upon closer inspection, disclose its own unrepeatable nature.

𝑻 𝑯 𝑬 𝑺 𝑪 𝑨 𝑹 𝑬 𝑪 𝑹 𝑶 𝑾 | Coderch & Malavia

What if what we are searching for has been within us all along?

In the celebrated story 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝑾𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑶𝒛, the Scarecrow sets off on a journey to the Emerald City, convinced that he needs a brain. His head is filled with straw, and he believes he lacks what he desires most: the ability to think.

Yet, along the way, he displays intuition, intelligence, and a remarkable strategic mind. In searching for wisdom, he reveals that he already possesses it.

With The Scarecrow, Coderch & Malavia transform this character into a sculptural presence in bronze, cast using the lost-wax technique and finished with a patina.

An artwork that invites us to look beyond appearances and reflect on a universal question: how often do we search outside ourselves for something we simply need to learn to recognise within?

Our collaboration with Stefano Bombardieri is one of these.

Returning to his studio at the close of this remarkable season was a special gift: reconnecting with his vision, discovering new works and once again being surprised by the depth and continuity of his artistic exploration.

For us, supporting and helping share Stefano’s artistic journey is a privilege. It also reflects the true meaning of the relationships we value: building connections with artists and like-minded partners who share our belief that beauty generates energy, fosters connections and opens up new ways of seeing the world.

𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒊 𝒅𝒊 𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒆 - 𝑽𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒐

A new chapter of 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒓𝒕 has recently taken place in one of the Casali di Casole, part of the Timbers Resorts collection.

Born from the collaboration between 𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒑𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑨𝒓𝒕 𝑮𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒓𝒚, SensiArte Galleria and Casali di Casole, the project brings contemporary sculpture into the intimate dimension of a lived space.

For a limited period, a private casale becomes a temporary setting for works by artists represented by isculpture: Ernest Massuet, Simona Ragazzi, Andrea Roggi, Emanuel Zoncato.

Here, sculpture is not experienced apart from its surroundings. It becomes part of the rhythm of the rooms, meeting natural light, materials, views and the architecture of the casale.

The result is deliberately temporary: an exhibition that does not simply occupy a space, but changes the way that space is perceived.

This is the essence of 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒓𝒕: creating moments in which art can be encountered naturally, unexpectedly, and as part of an experience.

𝑨𝑹𝑻𝑾𝑶𝑹𝑲𝑺 𝑰𝑵 𝑮𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑬𝑹𝒀 - 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒔

C’è qualcosa di eterno nelle figure che attraversano il tempo senza appartenere davvero a un’epoca.

Hermes è il messaggero degli dèi, colui che conosce le strade, attraversa i confini, accompagna i viaggiatori e porta parole da un mondo all’altro. È il dio del movimento e dell’incontro, della soglia e della trasformazione.

Jesús Curiá ne conserva l’archetipo, ma lo conduce altrove.

Nel suo **bronzo a cera persa**, il corpo umano diventa essenziale, quasi sospeso tra presenza e segno. La superficie si apre a geometrie, incisioni e dettagli dal carattere industriale, mentre le patine calde restituiscono alla materia una profondità quasi tattile.

È proprio in questo incontro che vive la forza della scultura di Curiá: l’antico non viene imitato, viene trasformato.

Il mito diventa materia.
La materia diventa linguaggio.
E una figura che appartiene a un tempo lontanissimo sembra improvvisamente parlarci del nostro.

Forse è questo il dono più affascinante di Hermes: ricordarci che attraversare una soglia significa sempre lasciare qualcosa alle spalle e portare con sé qualcosa di nuovo.

Un messaggero, allora, non è soltanto colui che porta un messaggio.

È colui che mette in comunicazione mondi diversi.

E Curiá, ancora una volta, costruisce proprio quel passaggio.

There is something timeless about figures that travel through history without ever truly belonging to a single era.

Hermes is the messenger of the gods, the one who knows the roads, crosses boundaries, guides travellers and carries words from one world to another. He is the god of movement and encounter, of thresholds and transformation.

Jesús Curiá preserves this archetype, but takes it somewhere else.

In his lost-wax bronze, the human figure becomes essential, almost suspended between presence and sign. The surface opens into geometric forms, incised details and industrial references, while warm patinas give the material an almost tactile depth.

It is precisely in this encounter that the strength of Curiá’s sculpture lies: the ancient is not imitated, but transformed.

Myth becomes matter.
Matter becomes language.
And a figure belonging to a distant time suddenly seems to speak to our own.

Perhaps this is Hermes’ most fascinating gift: reminding us that crossing a threshold always means leaving something behind and carrying something new with us.

A messenger, then, is not simply someone who carries a message.

He is the one who brings different worlds into communication.

And once again, Curiá creates precisely that passage.

A few images from Virgilio Rospigliosi’s exhibition, a project that brings together art, mathematics and philosophy and, through forms and variations, invites us to pause for a moment and look at things differently.

𝑬 𝒔𝒆 𝒄𝒊ò 𝒄𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒓𝒂 𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒏 𝒍𝒐 𝒇𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒆 𝒂𝒇𝒇𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒐?

Quindici opere.
Una ricerca sulla possibilità, o forse sull’impossibilità, di ripetere davvero la stessa cosa.

Dieci opere nascono dalla ripetizione di uno stesso soggetto, ma ogni volta qualcosa cambia: un dettaglio, una tonalità, una materia, una relazione nello spazio. Cinque ulteriori opere ampliano e completano questa riflessione, portandola verso nuove possibilità di lettura.

In Irripetibilità Spaziotemporale, Virgilio Rospigliosi ci invita così a guardare oltre ciò che riconosciamo al primo sguardo.

Perché ciò che sembra uguale può diventare diverso.
E ciò che osserviamo oggi non sarà mai esattamente ciò che vedremo domani.

There are moments when, looking at a work of art in its new home, we feel that it has finally found the place where it belongs.

That is exactly what we thought when we saw this olive tree by Andrea Roggi, surrounded by its new family.

Two figures reach towards one another, support each other, and together become the trunk of a tree.
Life rises from the earth, the branches open towards the sky, and among the leaves, small golden olives ripen.

It is one of the most cherished images in Roggi’s artistic journey: love as a root, as a union, as something that grows over time and, when cared for, bears fruit.

For this reason, knowing that it is now “home” moved us deeply.

Because a work like this does not speak only of a family.
It speaks of the desire to build, to grow together, to let time do its work. It speaks of what we choose to protect and of what we decide to give a place in our lives.

And perhaps this is what makes the journey of a work of art so special: to be born from an artist’s hands, to pass through the eyes of those who choose it, and finally to become part of a family’s story.

Today, this olive tree has found its family.
