I stop where others just walk by. 🚶♂️✨
…THAT DAY, on Via Piave in Milan, my eyes paused on this wall. In a world that never slows down, we need to stop and look at what hurts—only then can we truly understand it.
The artwork portrays a female figure who seems to withdraw, as if trying to shield her senses from an external invasion. Her face is shadowed by words that weigh like chains: phrases of possession, control, and demands that have nothing to do with love. The vivid blue stands out against the pink wall—like a final fragment of identity resisting an oppression that is not only physical, but psychological.
This powerful urban piece was created by the artist Stefania Marchetto in collaboration with Fondazione Onda, as part of the campaign.
It’s an invitation not to look away—to recognize the signs of control that are too often mistaken for care.
And you—are you able to stop and read beyond the color?
