THE VENICE CRONORAMA: AN ATTEMPT AT THE VISUAL EXHAUSTION OF AN ICONIC PLACE

Max Farina spent a decade developing “The Venice Cronorama - Rivus Altus in 10 years (2013-2023), an artistic project inspired by writer Georges Perec’s Tentative d’épuisement d’un lieu parisien (1975).

Fixed at the same vantage point on the Rialto Bridge for more than a decade, Farina recorded the Grand Canal through over 60,000 images assembled into a single, time-compressed panorama that challenges Venice’s visual stereotypes.

In Wrapped 7, Accossato reinterprets one of the oldest and most recognizable images in our culture, creating a powerful tension between the wings’ momentum and the constraints of the pose.
The figure appears ready to move, yet remains restrained, almost suspended between the desire to break free and what keeps it anchored and still.

THE COUPLE — Dario Tironi

The Couple presents two figures composed of everyday objects and materials, transformed by Dario Tironi into a striking reflection on contemporary society and our relationship with objects.

Transparent resin envelops the fragments, creating depth and complexity. Light diffused within the sculpture enhances the transparency of the resin, bringing its details and layers to life.

The Couple is currently on view at San Polo Art Gallery, Venice.

Joseph Kosuth illumina il Museo del Novecento di Milano

Con la nuova installazione permanente “Vedere le cose (per A.S.)”, Joseph Kosuth porta la sua ricerca artistica nello spazio urbano, trasformando la facciata del Museo del Novecento in una grande scrittura di luce ispirata ad Alberto Savinio. L'opera entra a far parte della collezione permanente del museo e invita cittadini e visitatori a osservare la città con uno sguardo nuovo.

Un progetto che dimostra come l'arte contemporanea possa dialogare con l'architettura e con la vita quotidiana, rendendo lo spazio pubblico un luogo di riflessione.

Alfred Eisenstaedt protagonista di una doppia mostra tra Venezia e Abano Terme

Le immagini di Alfred Eisenstaedt, uno dei fotografi più influenti del Novecento, tornano protagoniste in un progetto espositivo che unisce il Museo Villa Bassi Rathgeb di Abano Terme e il Museo Storico Navale di Venezia. La mostra racconta la vita e l'opera dell'autore attraverso due percorsi complementari, offrendo uno sguardo sulla sua straordinaria capacità di documentare la storia del secolo scorso.

Un'occasione per riscoprire uno dei grandi protagonisti della fotografia internazionale.

Inside Daniele Accossato’s Studio | The Making of Contemporary Sculptures

Daniele Accossato’s sculptures explore the paradox of contemporary art: the coexistence of sacred value and commercial destiny. Inspired by archetypal and spiritual iconographies, his works become symbols of a condition in which artworks are transformed into objects to be transported, stored and possessed.
The wooden crates and industrial packaging surrounding the sculptures are not simple protective structures, but powerful metaphors. Containers designed to preserve become cages that hide and imprison, revealing the tension between the artwork’s spiritual dimension and its role within the art
market.
Through this contrast, Accossato reflects on the fragile balance between contemplation and ownership, between the sacred nature of art and its transformation into merchandise.
