Splendido vaso in vetro di Murano dal color carta da zucchero, che infonde calma e serenità. La silhouette è quella di un vaso ad ogiva, leggermente asimmetrica e organica, è realizzato interamente a mano con tecnica del "battuto" esempio magistrale di come la materia vitrea possa essere lavorata per ottenere texture organiche e profondità luminose.

Tecnica del battuto:
Dopo la soffiatura, il vaso viene inciso a freddo con una mola, creando una miriade di piccole incavature simili a nidi d'ape o scaglie. Questa lavorazione rimuove la lucentezza naturale del vetro per donargli una finitura satinata e opaca, che al tatto risulta vellutata e diffonde la luce in modo morbido invece di rifletterla.
Grazie alle diverse profondità delle incisioni del "battuto", il colore sembra variare d'intensità su tutta la superficie. Le zone più sottili appaiono quasi traslucide, mentre i bordi delle incisioni creano delle ombre interne che danno volume all'oggetto.

È un'opera di altissimo livello, perfetta per un arredamento contemporaneo che valorizza i pezzi unici e l'alto artigianato italiano dell'isola di Murano.

🎵 Splendida scultura in vetro di Murano rappresenta un violino stilizzato, un'opera che fonde la maestria artigianale millenaria di Venezia con un'estetica contemporanea e vibrante.

L'opera si distingue per l'uso audace del colore. Il corpo dello strumento è realizzato con una tecnica il "calcedonio". Prevalgono i toni del viola intenso e del prugna, che sfumano in venature calde di ambra, arancio e crema. Queste linee fluide seguono la curvatura del vetro, dando l'impressione che il colore scorra all'interno della materia solida.

✨ Il vetro alterna zone di densità cromatica a zone più traslucide, catturando la luce e riflettendola in modo differente a seconda dell'angolazione.

La scultura non cerca il realismo assoluto, ma punta a un'astrazione elegante, il corpo mantiene la silhouette classica a "otto" del violino, ma con linee più tese e superfici levigate a specchio.

Il Ma**co e la Tastiera sono stilizzati in un unico blocco che sfuma dall'arancio al viola, culminando in un riccio (la parte superiore) che accenna alle meccaniche del violino con piccoli inserti ambrati che richiamano i piroli.

Un tocco di particolare finezza è dato dalle corde sottili, che sembrano quasi "esplodere" o sfilacciarsi in cima, aggiungendo un senso di movimento e fragilità ma sopratutto di puro realismo.

Il violino poggia su una base solida in vetro massiccio, che funge da piedistallo. Questa base riprende le tonalità dell'opera ma con un pattern più vorticoso, quasi marmorizzato, garantendo stabilità visiva e fisica a tutta la composizione.

L'opera comunica una forte sensazione di musicalità visiva. È un oggetto che celebra la bellezza della forma e la preziosità del vetro artistico, ideale per un ambiente raffinato dove la luce può esaltarne le trasparenze e la profondità dei colori.

È un perfetto esempio di come il vetro di Murano possa trasformare un oggetto classico in un'icona di design moderno.

An extraordinary work that captures Tina Turner's explosive energy through a truly dynamic contemporary Murano glass mosaic technique.
The mosaic depicts the “Queen of Rock” in one of her most iconic poses: microphone in hand, body bent and head slightly reclined during an intense performance. The choice of a monochromatic palette (shades of gray, white, and silver) shifts the focus from photographic reality to texture and the play of light.
Our master craftsman did not use classic square tiles, but irregular fragments that create an almost three-dimensional effect.
The Hair: To recreate Tina's famous lion's mane, long, narrow, pointed fragments were arranged in a radial pattern. This conveys a sense of movement and “electricity.”
The Dress: Here the mosaic becomes denser and more sparkling. The use of glass, mirrored, or metallic tiles imitates the sequins on her stage costumes, reflecting light differently depending on the angle.
The Face and Skin: Darker, flatter tiles were used for the shadow areas on the arm and face, creating a sharp contrast that shapes the muscles and expression.
The use of a uniform, opaque gray background gives an emotional impact and makes the figure “jump” out of the frame.
It is a piece of great craftsmanship, created by our master glassmaker using the modern cut mosaic technique.

This splendid vase is a masterful example of Murano glass artistry. The “spider web” effect is not painted on, but is integrated into the very structure of the glass during the blowing process by our master glassmaker. The intricate effect of white and green lines is achieved using glass rods, thin sticks of colored or opaque white glass.
🔥 The master glassmaker places these rods on a metal plate.
He then collects a mass of molten transparent glass (the “bolo”) and rolls it over the rods, which adhere to the hot surface.
To achieve such a dense and disordered pattern, the glass is heated and rotated repeatedly, and as the blower rotates the rod, the threads stretch and intertwine. In some cases, a second layer of transparent glass is applied over the threads to “trap” them inside the wall of the vase (submerged technique).
Once the decoration is fixed, the master glassblower blows into the rod to inflate the glass. It is at this stage that the lines stretch and thin, creating that ethereal and organic look. The teardrop shape is finished with pliers and wooden tools while the glass is still malleable.
