𝑩𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒐𝒐 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒔 (𝑩𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒐𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔)

Through constant material experimentation, the Glass Master explores the expressive potential of glass. In the Bamboo series, glass loses its transparency and becomes organic and almost vegetal. Its surface recalls natural fibers and bamboo, while the presence of the window introduces a subtle dialogue between interior and exterior, light and matter. The work blurs the boundary between mineral material and living form.

Early 1980s, an innovative sculpture by Glass Master Pino Signoretto. Combining Murano glass with a steel structure, this work of art is an avant-garde approach for its time.

Composed of three elements, the work reveals the Maestro’s extraordinary sculptural ability to shape glass into almost life-sized forms, pushing the boundaries of Murano glass work.

Napoleone Martinuzzi, Venetian sculptor and glass master, once said:

Right here, where Martinuzzi’s home once stood, Franco Schiavon Gallery is preparing to welcome once again glass masters and the traditional techniques of Murano glassmaking.

We are proud to be among the protagonists of Venezia Vive, the new book celebrating Venice’s historic realities for the 80th anniversary of Confcommercio.

The article Il cuore di vetro retraces our journey:
from young Alfio Schiavon’s first steps inside a Murano furnace, to the evolution of the gallery under Franco Schiavon, whose vision, dedication, and deep love for glass shaped the identity of our space.

His entrepreneurial spirit transformed the gallery into a living home for Murano craftsmanship, a place where art, tradition, and people meet.

Today, guided by Annarita Schiavon, this legacy continues through new collaborations, restored memories, and the many stories held in each piece of glass.
