張媛媛という画家について。

張媛媛は1984年中国湖北省生まれ。
中国大連大学美術科を卒業後、日本で古典絵画技法の研究を深めました。

横浜国立大学大学院では赤木古典絵画技法研究室に学び、東京藝術大学大学院では油画技法材料研究室を修了。
現在はエンカウスティークを軸に、岩絵具・金箔・亜麻布を用いて制作しています。

張が描くのは、山水・鯉・猫・花・吉祥の象徴が重なり合う絵画世界です。
中国・宋代の水墨山水に通じる大気や霧、水の気配と、金箔の光が重なり、夢の中を漂うような静けさが広がります。

本展「夢山水」では、写真では伝わりきらない蜜蝋の層、亜麻布の質感、金箔の反射を会場でご覧いただけます。

About Zhang Yuanyuan

Born in Hubei, China in 1984, Zhang Yuanyuan studied classical painting techniques in Japan after graduating from Dalian University.

She studied at Yokohama National University under the Akagi Classical Painting Techniques Laboratory, and later completed her studies at the Department of Oil Painting Techniques and Materials at Tokyo University of the Arts.

Working primarily with encaustic, mineral pigments, gold leaf, and linen, Zhang creates a pictorial world where landscapes, koi, cats, flowers, and auspicious symbols quietly overlap.

Her exhibition Dreamscape will be held at Gallery Ueda from October 19 to October 31, 2026.

来週に行われる「銀座の画廊巡り」に向けて、泰明小学校3年生のみなさんへの事前授業を行いました。

授業では好きな作品を選んでもらったり、「これもアート？」という問いについて考えてもらったりしながら、画廊とはどのような場所なのか、銀座にはどのようなアートがあるのかを紹介しました。

実際の画廊を訪れる前に、作品を見ることを少し身近に感じてもらうための時間です。

来週はいよいよ画廊巡り本番。
子どもたちが実際の作品や空間に触れ、どんなことを感じるのか楽しみにしています。

ギャラリー上田では、地域の子どもたちがアートに触れる機会づくりにも継続して取り組んでいきます。

【パークホテル東京で開催中｜展示作家紹介】

現在、パークホテル東京25Fアトリウムで開催中の「豊潤な秋を彩る心踊るアート展」。

今回ご紹介するのは、前壽則。

油彩に和紙、銀箔、膠など日本の伝統素材を組み合わせ、自然や植物を独自の質感で表現しています。

絵具だけでは生まれない素材の重なりや光の反射によって、静かな画面の中に奥行きのある表情を生み出しています。

ニューヨークのISE Cultural Foundationで展覧会に参加したほか、金津創作の森美術館、福井市美術館などでも作品を発表してきました。

現在、パークホテル東京25Fアトリウムで作品をご覧いただけます。

【Featured Artist｜Hisanori Mae】

Currently on view at Park Hotel Tokyo, 25F Atrium.

Hisanori Mae combines oil paint with traditional Japanese materials such as washi paper, silver leaf and animal glue, creating distinctive textures inspired by nature and plants.

His works have been presented at ISE Cultural Foundation in New York, Kanaz Forest of Creation Museum and Fukui City Art Museum.

The layered materials and reflected light give his paintings a subtle sense of depth that is best experienced in person.

On view through November 15.

現在、パークホテル東京25Fアトリウムで開催中の「豊潤な秋を彩る心踊るアート展」。

今回ご紹介するのは、馬莉。

中国と日本の漆芸技法を基礎に、漆、螺鈿、卵殻などの伝統的な素材と、現代的な立体表現を組み合わせて作品を制作しています。

清華大学大学院を修了後、東京藝術大学大学院で漆芸の博士号を取得。

作品は中国美術館、厦門美術館、広州芸術博物院に収蔵され、上海国際博覧会中国美術展、福州国際漆芸ビエンナーレ、湖北国際漆芸トリエンナーレなど国内外の展覧会にも参加しています。

伝統的な漆芸の技法と、現代の造形感覚が交わる作品を、ぜひ実際にご覧ください。

【Featured Artist｜Ma Li】

Currently on view at Park Hotel Tokyo, 25F Atrium.

Ma Li combines traditional lacquer techniques from China and Japan with contemporary three-dimensional expression, using materials such as lacquer, mother-of-pearl inlay and eggshell.

She completed graduate studies at Tsinghua University and received a doctorate in lacquer art from Tokyo University of the Arts.

Her works are held in the collections of the National Art Museum of China, Xiamen Art Museum and Guangzhou Museum of Art, and she has participated in major lacquer art exhibitions in China and abroad.

On view through November 15.

今回ご紹介するのは、成田真梨菜。

「人と動物の共存共栄」をテーマに、鮮やかな色彩による絵画や立体作品を制作しています。

動物をモチーフにした作品に加え、伝統的なこけしの木地に絵付けを施した「こけしガールズ」など、自由な発想から生まれる作品を発表しています。

クルーズ客船「飛鳥III」アート公募展では準グランプリを受賞。
中本誠司現代美術館、大衡万葉の森ふるさと美術館などで展覧会を開催し、アルメニア、韓国、インドネシア、台湾など海外での展覧会にも参加しています。

【Featured Artist｜Marina Narita】

Currently on view at Park Hotel Tokyo, 25F Atrium.

Marina Narita creates paintings and sculptures based on the theme of coexistence between humans and animals.

Her colorful works include animal motifs as well as her “Kokeshi Girls,” created by painting traditional Japanese kokeshi forms with her own contemporary imagery.

She received the Runner-up Grand Prix in the Asuka III Art Competition and has participated in exhibitions in Japan and abroad, including Armenia, South Korea, Indonesia and Taiwan.

現在、パークホテル東京25Fアトリウムで開催中の「豊潤な秋を彩る心踊るアート展」。

今回ご紹介するのは、マテウス・ドロジンスキー。

犬や猫などの動物を擬人化し、人間のようにくつろぐ姿や感情を描くポーランド出身の作家です。

どこか人間らしい仕草や表情を見せる動物たち。
ユーモラスで親しみやすい一方、それぞれの作品には静かな時間や感情が感じられます。

LA Art Show、Art Central Hong Kong、Art Fair Tokyoなど国内外の主要アートフェアに出品。

【Featured Artist｜Mateusz Dorozynski】

Born in Poland, Mateusz Dorozynski creates anthropomorphic dogs and cats, capturing relaxed poses and emotions that feel distinctly human.

His works have been presented at major art fairs including LA Art Show, Art Central Hong Kong and Art Fair Tokyo.

He has also exhibited at Corridor Gallery 34 at Park Hotel Tokyo.
