ホワイトストーン銀座新館では、坪田昌之による個展「𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗳𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱」2026年11月6日から11月28日まで開催いたします。

「𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗳𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱」は、色彩や素材によって立ち現れる物質の気配や生命性、作品が置かれることで生じる空間の変容、そして見る位置の移ろいによって変化する像——作品を起点に、存在、空間、知覚へと連なる諸相をめぐる坪田の思考を示唆する言葉です。

本展では、これまで坪田が継続的に取り組んできた《the layer of self》《the wall of self》《the core of self》を軸に新たな作品群を展示するとともに、坪田の制作の基盤となるドローイング作品もあわせて発表いたします。

Whitestone Ginza New Gallery is pleased to present ‘𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗳𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱’, a solo exhibition by Masayuki Tsubota starting November 6 until November 28, 2026.

‘𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗳𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱’ is a phrase that alludes to Tsubota’s ongoing exploration of the interconnected aspects of existence, space, and perception, beginning with the work itself. It evokes the presence and vitality of matter that emerges through color and material, the transformation of space brought about by the placement of a work, and images that shift according to the changing position of the viewer.

The exhibition will feature a new body of works centered around Tsubota’s ongoing series “the layer of self”, “the wall of self”, and “the core of self”, alongside drawings that form the foundation of his artistic practice.

会場では、本展『呼吸のワルツ』のためにAIOが自ら書き下ろした楽曲が流れます。視覚と聴覚の双方が織りなす、AIOならではの音楽と絵画の融合をご体感ください。

“In ‘𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘇 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵’, I weave together the movement of water and the rhythm of breathing to express the invisible currents that exist within all life.
Perhaps tranquility is not found in stillness, but in constant circulation. The wind passes through, the water ripples, and life continues its endless flow.”

Most know AIO for her melody and songwriting, but her artistic expression doesn’t stop at music. In her latest show, she bridges the gap between sound, ink, and canvas that explores calligraphy and painting with the same depth she brings to her music. During the exhibition, the venue will feature an original music track composed specifically for Breath Waltz by AIO herself.

Much of the human body is composed of water, within which an endless current is always in motion. Blood flows, cells continuously expand and contract, and each breath fills the body like a gentle wave. Breath is the wind that passes through us.”

Expanding her artistic horizon beyond her career as a singer-songwriter into diverse fields of expression such as painting and calligraphy, AIO will showcase a collection of works nearly half of which are brand-new creations brought together under one roof.

During the exhibition, the venue will feature an original music track composed specifically for Breath Waltz by AIO herself. Experience this unique fusion of music and art created by AIO, where visual and auditory senses intertwine.

ハンブルクを拠点に活動する綿引展子による、日本では約4年ぶりとなる個展『光がいちはやくなぞる道』を、9月10日より開催します。

本展のために特別に制作された壁面ドローイングも、見どころのひとつです。

人間と植物を似た存在として捉え、目には見えない感情や生命のエネルギーを色鮮やかに描き出した作品群を、ぜひ会場でご覧ください🪻

Hamburg-based artist Nobuko Watabiki presents her first solo exhibition in Japan in nearly four years, ‘The Path Traced by Light’, opening September 10.

One of the highlights of the exhibition is a specially created wall drawing, made directly on the gallery walls for this exhibition.

Viewing humans and plants as closely connected forms of life, Watabiki’s vibrant works give form to invisible emotions and the energy of life. We invite you to experience the works in person at the gallery🪻
