Wada Garou is pleased to present “Night – Solitude” a solo exhibition by Aki Nakata.

Nakata’s work, characterized by the delicate diffusion of ink and dynamic brushwork, honors the foundations of traditional calligraphy while transcending literal text.

Her pieces evoke subtle inner fluctuations and atmospheric presence beyond words.

This exhibition features new works centered on the theme of “night.”

It explores night as a time when external noise fades, allowing for deep introspection—revealing another landscape that emerges within moments of quiet intensity.

Wada Garou is pleased to present
“Searching for a Yellow Pebble,” a solo exhibition by Shinpei Okawa.

Searching
Remembering
Watching something quietly shift.

A small yellow pebble once encountered by chance.
Overturned in the rain, altered in light—
and one day, gone.

New paintings reflecting on memory, perception, and the fragile moment when an image comes into being.
