北海道風景画館から風景画家の庭へ
来館者の多くは美術館で絵をご覧になった後、
庭を散策される。
都忘れ、ムラサキシキブ、ホトトギス、楚々とした草花、木漏れ日の木下道、
庭を案内してくれる猫たち、虹色にマリア様が染まる小さな教会、
そして「癒されました」と帰り行く人々。

From Hokkaido Landscape Museum to the Garden of a Landscape Painter
After taking in the paintings, many visitors wander through the garden.
Forget-me-nots, beautyberries, and toad lilies.
Delicate wildflowers, a sun-dappled path beneath the trees,
and cats quietly showing the way.
A little church where the Virgin Mary is bathed in rainbow light.
And people leaving with a gentle smile, saying,
“I feel healed.”
