시몬느 핸드백 박물관-시몬느 아트센터 가로수길에 위치한 시몬느 핸드백 뮤지엄 The Simone Handbag Museum is opened July 2012. The museum has been commissioned by Simone Acc. Collection Ltd.

The collection has been acquired by Judith Clark, Professor of Fashion and Museology, who has designed and curated the museum. The museum gives a dynamic overview of the history of western bags from the sixteenth century to the present and the historic tools associated with such a specialised art. Its design reflects recent museology and its fascination with archives, as well as study into mannequ

in design and innovation. The museum collection takes up two floors of the newly built edifice in central Seoul, with a third top floor for international loans and temporary exhibitions. Designed by local architects, UAD, the building isl also host Simone’s new offices, and shops. Simonel selsl its own range of bags launched Summer 2012. The whole project is the brainchild of Simone CEO Kenny Park, who believes that Simone should use its success to inspire and develop the next generation of creatives.
