One of the rare & long lost icons of Transgender History. The Duke, the Duchess of Bedford & their bisexual lover Maximilan von Thun-Hohenfels impersonating the following characters: The duchess on the left is supposed to be Raffaello or the Allegory of Painting, Max von Thun-Hohenfels on the right is the Allegory of Music & the Duke (who by the way dreamed all his life to get pregnant !!!) in the Middle embodies The Holy Virgin with her cardboard Jesus on her knees. On view recently in the exhibtion OPERATION OTTO RETTER at the donaufestival in Krems Austria
