Elsewhere Gallery and the artist Jung Shen are pleased to invite you to the solo exhibition, “Dialogue entre montagne et eau” , on view from Oct. 24 to Nov. 7.

Iyoshi Kreutz: The Forgotten Forest
Elsewhere Gallery is pleased to present The Forgotten Forest, a solo exhibition by Iyoshi Kreutz

Set in Wulai, Taiwan, once a retreat filled with warmth, this series captures the quiet hum of time passing. Vines entwine around forgotten statues, moss softens the edges of human presence, and the remnants of an abandoned world dissolve into the landscape. Shot as a personal travel journal, The Forgotten Forest reflects the fragile moment when nature and memory blur—when what was built begins to fade, and the wild reclaims its space.

Born in 1985, Iyoshi Kreutz is a photographer drawn to the quiet and cinematic. Her practice explores stillness in urban and natural landscapes, revealing moments of solitude within the everyday. Inspired by minimalist aesthetics and the interplay of shadow and light, she seeks to capture the spaces where silence speaks the loudest.
