Visitors can explore the Roman- and Paleo-Christian–era catacombs, an underground network of burial cham

Guided tours run throughout the day, offering an engaging and accessible introduction to the site’s history, spirituality, and archaeology.

HAPPY EASTER
A beautiful 18th‑century print by G. Cortese, after the original by C. Bloemaert, from the 1794 Roman Missal. This historic piece, preserved at St Agatha’s Church, captures the joy and radiance of the Resurrection, a fitting image as we celebrate faith and Easter’s message of hope and renewal.

FROM OUR CABINET OF CURIOSITIES — No. 6
This 18th‑century panel from the Church of St Agatha portrays Christ on the Cross, accompanied by Mary, the Mother of God, John the Evangelist, and Mary Magdalene. Its distinctive frame, topped with a modest canopy, once housed sacred relics.
