Now on view at “Index VI: Intus Foris”, Argentine artist Marcos Acosta (b. 1980) presents a series of works on paper that explore the tension between structure and spontaneity.

As the artist notes: “The tension between the black and white of the drawing and the color in the geometric forms is part of an ongoing reflection on the duality of the perceptible world.”

His drawings become meditations on contrast—between light and shadow, form and idea, clarity and ambiguity.

En exhibición en “índex VI: Intus Foris”, el artista argentino Marcos Acosta (n. 1980) presenta una serie de obras sobre papel que indagan en la tensión entre la estructura y la espontaneidad.
Como escribe el artista: “La tensión entre el blanco y negro del dibujo y el color en las formas geométricas, es parte de la constante reflexión sobre la dualidad del mundo perceptible.”
Sus dibujos se convierten en meditaciones sobre el contraste: entre luz y sombra, forma e idea, claridad y ambigüedad.

“Derrumbe / Destrucción” (2024) and “Alte und neue Wunden” (2020) explore physical and symbolic violence through fragile yet charged materials.

A reflection on social wounds and the marks they leave behind.

"Raging Planet" brings together a group of artists exploring the raw power and fragility of nature through materiality and form.

We're proud to highlight the work of Bosco Sodi and Oliver Marsden, whose practices offer distinct yet complementary perspectives on this theme.

🔸 Bosco Sodi presents large-scale paintings composed of sawdust, natural pigments, and fibers. These textured, cracked surfaces evoke weathered landscapes shaped by time, geology, and entropy.

🔸 Oliver Marsden exhibits luminous abstract paintings that investigate light, energy, and resonance. His works, layered with transparent pigment, create hypnotic spatial vibrations inspired by nature’s unseen patterns.

Raging Planet reúne a un grupo de artistas que exploran la fuerza bruta y la fragilidad de la naturaleza a través de la materialidad y la forma.

Nos enorgullece destacar la participación de Bosco Sodi y Oliver Marsden, artistas representados por la galería, cuyas prácticas ofrecen perspectivas únicas sobre estos temas.

Bosco Sodi presenta pinturas de gran formato creadas con aserrín, pigmentos naturales y fibras. Sus superficies agrietadas evocan paisajes erosionados por el tiempo, la geología y la entropía. Oliver Marsden exhibe pinturas abstractas que investigan la luz, la energía y la resonancia. La Galería Hilario Galguera se complace en presentar "Vivisystem", una exposición del artista británico Mat Collishaw que investiga la intersección entre biología, tecnología y arte. A través de pinturas, tapices y esculturas animatrónicas, Collishaw crea un universo provocador donde la inteligencia artificial replica patrones naturales, cuestionando la relación entre lo orgánico y lo sintético.

En "Vivisystem", flores se fusionan con insectos, cuerpos digitales reaccionan a datos reales y antiguos telares industriales revelan su vínculo con el origen de la programación moderna. ¿Qué ocurre cuando la máquina imita la vida?

Through paintings, Jacquard-woven tapestries, and animatronic sculptures, Collishaw constructs a thought-provoking universe where artificial intelligence replicates natural patterns—blurring the lines between the organic and the synthetic.

In "Vivisystem", flowers morph into insects, digital bodies respond to real-time data, and early industrial looms reveal their influence on the origins of computing. What happens when machines begin to imitate life?
