Nuria Oliva is a Spanish artist whose work focuses on exploring color as an emotional and psychological language. Through abstraction, she investigates the balance between contrast, gesture, and composition, creating works where color acts as a structural and narrative element. Her process is based on layering, fusing techniques, and controlled intuition, allowing each piece to evolve organically. The result is compositions that oscillate between strength and silence, designed to engage with contemporary architectural spaces. Nuria Oliva's works function as emotional fragments: open narratives where abstraction and color become an intimate and timeless visual experience.

Nuria Oliva is a contemporary Spanish abstract artist whose work translates personal memories and rural landscapes into a vibrant, psychological language of color. Based in Gijón, she employs a tactile approach to mixed media, often using her hands to apply thick layers of oil, acrylic, and pastel. Her signature style is defined by energetic, upward gestural strokes that balance raw emotional tension with moments of meditative silence. Beyond her studio practice, she collaborates frequently with interior design and architecture firms to create custom pieces for residential spaces. Having exhibited internationally at events like Art3f Paris, Oliva continues to evolve her "visual imaginary" through upcoming residencies and solo shows across Spain.
