Arlene House (aka Kapitan Chung Thye Phin Building or Phin Kee Chan) is a Neoclassical Victorian-Palladian architecture building commissioned in 1905 by Kapitan Chung Thye Phin, a prominent Tin miner and last Kapitan China of Perak and Malaya. In our continued pursuit to preserve, conserve, restore and record the building's history & heritage attributes, personalities and business activities that

have once occupied and operated in this building, we would appreciate the public/persons who have personal knowledge of such information mentioned above to share with us further images, photos, events and/or stories of this building and its occupants/business activities, to enable us to have better understanding in preservation-conservation-restoration works and recording of the history and heritage attributes of the building for the public/future generation learning-knowledge and appreciation.
