Specialist in Contemporary Southeast Asian art as well as the market for it, Jihane Ferrah provides a range of services and expertise to private and corporate collectors, art professionals, museums and cultural institutions, always with a clear understanding of their expectations. The art market is often considered to be elitist and mistakenly perceived as something inaccessible to those who lack
knowledge of art, local contacts or sufficient financial resources. Yet the motivations for acquiring art are varied, ranging from personal favourites to art collection to financial investments. Each requires a customised and personal support that is designed to meet the client’s objectives, to guide them through a process that can seem opaque for the uninitiated. Providing consultancy, research on art works, their valuation and promotion, communication services, as well as event management, Jihane Ferrah is able to satisfy all the needs of individual and corporate clients, whether they are artists, gallerists, museums or, collectors. Jihane Ferrah graduated in 2014 with a Master’s Degree in Art Business from École du Louvre and a Master’s Degree in Art History from Université Paris IV - Sorbonne. Since her graduation, she has been developing her skills and knowledge working in the Paris and international art markets: art galleries, auction houses, art fairs. Passionate about Southeast Asia, Jihane Ferrah devoted her last dissertation to the contemporary Indonesian art market, which includes a one-year field study to assess the trends and opportunities in Southeast Asia, as well as the region’s unique characteristics. The services Jihane Ferrah offers are divided into four areas: art acquisition and collection management, exhibition curation, talent management.
