What is true meaning of exposure?

Recently we attended the Collider exhibition at the Power House Museum Sydney.

The Museum administration mentioned despite its hard for kids to understand what collider is, but this exhibition definitely provide great exposure for the kids.

I realize exposure is not necessary about gaining understanding of the content. But also cultivating respect, new insight, creativity and appreciation.

The collider exhibition is presented in a very technology driven way. We literately walked into a room that gave us a close to heart overview of life of a researcher/scientist. The exhibition successfully show our kids what dedication and presidency could bring to the future.

Hands on learning

The Rock Museum (free entrance) in Sydney is a decent Museum. Kids are given worksheet to identify some objects during their visit.

I was impressed by a small learning corner that is set up by the museum to encourage kids to find the artifacts available in boxes and think how they would like to display them on shelf to present the history to visitors.

This is a hands on for kids to think about theme, objectives of the exhibition, how best they could present the artifacts available.
