A TRIBUTE TO MUMMY
My international mummy. It is still like a dream because I have been struggling to write this Tribute. With eyes full of tears as I write this because I can’t believe that, if I get home that you will not be found again at home or in the land of the living.
And there is no one again, to call my international mum, my mistin, my impro, mama Chinwendu...
Mum, I can’t focus on anything now, I’m finding it hard to accept the reality that you are no longer with us.

During your stay at the hospital I enjoyed staying with you, mostly you call me to stay beside you to support you in sitting down, feeding you, bathing you but now my vibrant strong woman has passed on. this very Day 06/10/2025 by 7pm It was like a dream which come to reality.

You hoped to get up from your sick bed but the pains you endured was too much. While at the hospital, If wished I were God I would have healed you but I’m only human and God knows the best.

My international, during the condolence visits from your family and friends, I felt heartbroken that you are gone indeed. Their visits showed that you were good to them and you were cherished and they would miss your absence.
Mum, you never allowed yourself to be pitted instead you advised people to keep up faith in God.
I could remember when some family members and friends would come to visit you at home to encourage you to keep faith in God but you, in turn would give them words of wisdom and encourage them to have faith in God that God can make all things possible.

My international mistin you strove for me to live and prayed for me to have life, you tried your best to make me happy, mummy you laboured for us to become what we are today and only for you to enjoy the fruits of your labour, (boom 💥), sickness stroke you and you suffered it for ten years, which excluded you from your daily activities, Work, Village meetings, Town meetings, Omugwo visit, going to market, Attending the prayer meetings of Blue army, Precious blood, Morning masses and other church activities.
You remembered and strived to live, hoping that you would get better but God knows the best.

Mistin, I am proud to be your daughter. You were my Prayer warrior. You were cheerful, kind hearted, you supported good things, stood by the truth and bore no grudge against anyone, You left the fight to God to settle it.
My international mistin u connect people to marry each other and so far they're living peacefully, happily married, and successfully in their marital life.

Mum guide me not to make a mistake in choosing a partner and guide me.
I have always wished to have you in my marriage and for omugwo, I don't want to miss you a bit in this life fill me with ur good memories and fill in every vacuum.

I pray to have such virtues.
Mum, watch over us. we will honor your memory and your legacy because you choose peace over fight.

May your sweet and peaceful soul rest in the Bosom of God our Father.
May Mother Mary receive your home and lead you to your blissful home in heaven. Amen

Adieu, International mistin,
My Impro,
Mama Chinwendu,
Okwu Ana so Anya,
Okwu di nlo,
I take u as my guardian today.

May our blessed Virgin Mary grant u the Graces of those wearing scapular to die, may the Angel of the Lord lead u to the place of eternal life till we meet to part no more. Amen..

Stop using “Mr/Mrs Daniel” on your property documents

It looks sweet and united but in law, it is a trap.

Now, picture this

You and your spouse buy land together. On the Deed of Conveyance, the lawyer writes: “Mr/Mrs Daniel” as the purchaser.
You smile, thinking it shows joint ownership.
Wrong.

In law, “Mr/Mrs Daniel” refers to the man alone as if he bought the property in his sole name. The wife’s interest is not protected.

If you truly want co-ownership, the names must be written clearly, for example:

🥢 “Daniel Chukwuemeka and Rose Daniel (husband and wife)”

🥢 “Mr. Daniel Chukwuemeka and Mrs. Rose Daniel, jointly as purchasers.”

OR

1. Mr Daniel Chukwuemwka
2. Mrs. Rose Daniel
(Purchasers)

That way, both names appear distinctly, and the law recognizes both parties as owners.
I’ve seen too many cases where a widow was pushed out of her home because the document only bore her husband’s name even though she contributed.

In law, love is not ownership.
If you want joint ownership, write your names clearly.
Protect your marriage.
Protect your property.

I remain your favorite lawyer 💕

Detailed teaching of the meaning of what Ikeji Mgbowo stands for. Mainly for the Youths.

In the context of Ikeji Mgbowo, a celebrated variant of the Ikeji Festival observed in Mgbowo (Enugu State), Eka Okuku (ọtụtụ nvula) is a deeply symbolic ritual. It marks the Eke day (“Eka” or “Eke” being one of the four Igbo market days) during the festival and references “Okuku” (quail) alongside “ọtụtụ nvula”, literally “abundant rains.” Here’s why it’s so meaningful:

Meaning & Symbolism

Eka (Eke day): The first day in the Ikeji week, when ancestral blessings are invoked, purification rituals are performed, and thanksgiving for the new yam harvest begins.

Okuku (quail): Represents fertility, renewal, and delicate life – often used in divination and sacrifice.

Ọtụtụ nvula (heavy rains): Symbolizes abundance, cleansing, growth, and sustenance for crops – especially yams.

Together, Eka Okuku (ọtụtụ nvula) signifies a prayer and celebration for bountiful rains, which are vital for a rich harvest and community prosperity.

Why It Matters

1. Agricultural Significance:

In an agrarian society, timely rains mean successful yam growth—the cultural and economic backbone of Igbo land. This ceremony expresses communal hope for a prosperous farming season.

2. Spiritual Cleansing & Renewal:

The heavy rains and quail sacrifice both carry spiritual weight—washing away past troubles, renewing the land, and strengthening ancestors’ protection.

3. Cultural Preservation:

This ritual is a living link to ancestral knowledge and agricultural wisdom, reflecting how deeply Igbo customs are tied to land rhythms.

4. Community Bonding:

It’s a communal act—families, masquerades, priests, and youths come together in prayer, dance, song, reweaving the social and spiritual fabric of the people.

Why It’s Important to Teach the Younger Generation

Ecological Awareness:

Understanding the ritual imparts knowledge about seasonal cycles, rain patterns, and sustainable farming—crucial in a world fac
