Photoshop cutouts involving hair. Some background removal or change, involving hair or even flyaway hair need not to use the Photoshop pen tool. This is because in this type of job (cutting out foreground from any background), you will loose some pixels of the photo, and it will not look real. Thereby making the whole job look unprofessional. Look at the below photos and you can see that precision is observed in the edited copes of each of the original photos. Let your editing jobs of such nature be done like these. I bet you, most people cannot tell that they have been edited.
