Midterm Madness - de grote nabeschouwing!
Over precies twee maanden gaan de Verenigde Staten naar de stembus voor de midtermverkiezingen. En de inzet is hoger dan ooit.
Weet Donald Trump en de Republikeinse Partij hun meerderheid te behouden? De uitslag is niet alleen bepalend voor de Verenigde Staten, maar raakt ook aan de economische en geopolitieke stabiliteit aan beide zijden van de Atlantische Oceaan en ver daarbuiten.
Op vrijdagavond 6 november 2026 slaan Atlantische Commissie, BKB | Het Campagnebureau en The John Adams Institute daarom opnieuw de handen ineen. In Pakhuis de Zwijger blikken we een avond lang, verspreid over twee zalen, terug op de Midterms. Met mini colleges, panelgesprekken én livemuziek duiken we in de verkiezingsuitslag. Na het inhoudelijke programma is er ruimte voor een drankje, een goed gesprek en een dansje tot middernacht. Het definitieve programma volgt binnenkort.

Midterm Madness – The Aftershow!
In exactly two months, voters across the United States will head to the polls for the midterm elections – and the stakes are higher than ever.
Will Donald Trump and the Republican Party manage to retain their majority in Congress? The outcome is not only decisive for the United States, but also will have influence on economic and geopolitical stability on both sides of the Atlantic and beyond.
That is why Atlantische Commissie, BKB | Het Campagnebureau, and The John Adams Institute are joining forces again on Friday evening, November 6, 2026. At Pakhuis de Zwijger, we will spend an entire evening looking back at this year’s midterms, spread across two rooms. With mini-lectures, panel discussions, and live music, we will dive into the election results. After the substantive program, there will be time for a drink, a good conversation, and a dance until midnight. The final program will follow shortly.
