Guys, guys, guys, why is no one taking care of those Sheela na Gigs?”

In her new film GoPro HERO (2026), Emmeline de Mooij confronts centuries of invisibility around female sexuality. From overgrown Irish ruins to womb tombs, dating app confessions, and lust, she traces the symbol of transition: the Sheela na Gig — gaunt, medieval women carved in stone, proudly displaying their vulvas. Bodies that assert themselves, refusing shame.

HELL HOLLE expands De Mooij’s practice into radical territory: sexuality, desire, and care embodied through textiles, film, and gesture. Hand-spun lambswool, stitched patchwork, mended socks — the patience and care of making becomes a metaphor for nurturing, for resisting disappearance, for celebrating life and body.

Sea Legs brings together works from various stages of Antonietta Peeters’ practice. From early crochet works to her characteristic landscape-oriented paintings and recent works in which the act of painting is the central motif. Join us for the last day of NAP+ and see our solo-presentation with Marijn van Kreij in the Centrale Markthal.

The presentation at NAP+ zooms in on the window, an important element in visual art and a recurring theme for both Picasso and Van Kreij. For the series Untitled (Picasso, L’Atelier, 1955), Van Kreij painted dozens of variations on the studio window, based on Picasso’s L’Atelier from 1955, on different types of paper. The studio window can be seen here as a kind of link between inner life and the outside world, but also between the artist and the viewer.
