Nieuwste aanwinst.
Zoek de verschillen.
Begin vorige week kocht ik een zeldzame Daum Bonbonnière op de Belgische Marktplaats 2dehands.be.
Ik vond het raar dat het glas van het deksel er zo donker (zeg maar zwart) uit zag en had het idee dat het een productiefoutje was.
Tot ik na een paar dagen bedacht dat zich op het matte deel van het glas in ruim 100 jaar best veel vuil had kunnen afzetten.
Dus ben ik gaan poetsen, eerst heel voorzichtig, daarna wat fanatieker en zie nu het resultaat!

2nd Vase "Fuchsias" Le Verre Français (1924-27)
I am very excited to have acquired another "Fuchsias" vase within one week.
This one arrived safe in Amsterdam today from Paris. Both vases are a very rare couple with an adorable design.

Vase "Fuchsias" Le Verre Français (1924-27)
Another beautiful vase with a highly sought-after design has been acquired.
This vase is not only signed "Le Verre Français" but also "FRANCE OVINGTON" under the base, indicating that it was produced for export to the luxury Ovington store in New York .

Our latest Acquisition in Porto.
When I saw this small bowl in an antique shop, I immediately recognized the style of "Le Verre Français," but the decor was completely new to me.
At home, I found a good reference in the book "Le Verre Français - Charder" by Joulin & Maier (2020).
The bowl is one of the sample bowls that representatives of the company used to show in luxury stores testing which decors were desired for the coming years. The bowls are quite rare, unsigned, and several decors (like this one) never reached the market.

Today's acquisition is an Egg Shaped Daum # Nancy Winterforest Vase.
This vase was kept in one family from 1910 until now by four adjacent generations.
It is a perfect addition to our existing collection of Winter Landscape Vases.
