What a truly wonderful and heart, opening day we experienced together at the Tibetan Summer Festival. For the 6th time Marja and i organized this Festival succesfully. Thank you for all your efforts Marja.
On this beautiful August 8th, a day known as the opening of the Lion’s Gate, and a date that in Tibetan Buddhism reflects the sacred symbolism of the number eight, the sign of infinity and auspiciousness, we gathered in a powerful and uplifting energy. It was also a Dakini day, bringing a special blessing of wisdom, inspiration, and feminine spiritual energy.
We were deeply touched by the large number of people who joined us and by the many heartfelt compliments we received. The workshop was well attended and filled with genuine interest and connection. The yoga sessions giving by the co founder of the Museum, Leela, were highly appreciated, and the Dharma teachings, mantra chanting, and shared moments of stillness and sound created a truly magical atmosphere.
A special thank you goes also to Christy, our dedicated percussionist, whose beautiful sound healing touched many hearts. We are also grateful for all the volunteers who made this day possible with their time, love, and dedication.
And of course, i warmly thank Wangchuk, my brother, for preparing the delicious momo’s that added such a joyful and nourishing element to the day. And to all our dedicated volunteers who always help with so much love and compassion.
We already look forward to creating an even more beautiful festival next year, where we will once again share the wisdom, compassion, and loving energy of Tibetan culture and Buddhism with you.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for your presence, your openness, and your support.
With gratitude and blessings,
Lama Tashi Norbu
