✨ Gouda by Candlelight ✨
Friday December 12 the city glows by the light of candles.. The entire historic centre comes alive: choirs perform on street corners, the Markt glows with thousands of candles, the Christmas tree is ceremonially lit, and cosy cafés and boutiques stay open late. It’s one of the most enchanting winter evenings in the Netherlands.

Our gallery is open extra long from 11 AM to 7 PM. Step inside and discover paintings that shimmer with quiet beauty, sculptures that capture the glow of the season, and a collection made to be experienced, not rushed.
