Yesterday, my oldest visitor ever, one hundred years old (!), came to celebrate his daughter's (65) birthday. Besides being my oldest visitor, he was also the most critical. He asked all kinds of questions about my choices of certain artists, or why I hung one painting high and another low. It was a very nice afternoon with this group of ten. One of the other guests went home with a painting by Lies Kortenhorst and three works by Jose van Loon.
