💥 NOW ON VIEW: From Scratch

From Scratch explores the creative process as an ongoing dialogue between artist and material.

Featuring works by Hans van der Ham, Arthur Löwen, Marieke Bolhuis, Gijs van Lith, and Alexander Tinei, the exhibition reveals how materials can shape, challenge, and inspire the making of an artwork.

Across five solo presentations, paint, wood, texture, and gesture become a language of their own, opening up new ways of seeing, feeling, and interpreting the world around us.

Een bijzondere avond waarin hedendaagse kunst en gastronomie samenkomen.

Op zondag 21 juni verwelkomen wij u bij MOYA voor een exclusieve Chef’s Table verzorgd door Restaurant In de Achtertuin — midden in onze tentoonstelling From Scratch, in de monumentale setting van de voormalige Sint-Antoniuskerk.

Geniet van een verfijnd 4-gangendiner inclusief wijn en tafelwater, samengesteld met seizoensgebonden en lokale ingrediënten.

𝟭 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗬 💛

Today, exactly one year ago, we opened the doors of our new location: the former Sint Antonius Church, designed by architect Pierre Cuypers.

So much can happen in a year: three exhibitions, artist talks, events, new collaborations, inspiring encounters, bold ideas, and above all: an incredible amount of art shared within these walls.

A big thank you to all the artists who have exhibited with us, everyone who visited MOYA over the past year, and all those who continue to support what we do. And a special shout-out to our small but dedicated team, working tirelessly every day to make all of this possible.

Here’s to many more years! 💛

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗯𝗶𝗷 𝗠𝗢𝗬𝗔

Op woensdag 20 mei presenteert MOYA 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘶𝘴 𝘖𝘯𝘵𝘮𝘰𝘦𝘵, een concert waarin Gregoriaanse zang wordt verbonden met hedendaagse muziek en verbeelding.

𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗢𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁, onder leiding van 𝗥𝘂𝗱𝗶 𝗢𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻, brengt Gregoriaanse gezangen die worden aangevuld met moderne klanken van onder anderen 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻 (saxofoon), slagwerk en gitaar. Ook lichtprojecties en tekst dragen bij aan de beleving.

In samenwerking met leerlingen van het 𝗠𝗴𝗿. 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 en andere makers ontstaat een gelaagde voorstelling, waarin ook de Tilburgse Muurpartituur muzikaal tot leven komt.

De avond is geïnspireerd op Gregorius de Das, een personage dat zijn oorsprong vindt in de Sint-Paulusabdij in Oosterhout. Dit historische verhaal vormt de basis voor een programma waarin verleden en heden samenkomen.
