Art by Margunn Velkommen til Art by Margunn – et stille rom i farger. Kunst som lar deg puste 💛

Takk for at du er her 💛

Gjennom penselstrøk og lag på lag med tekstur formidler jeg det som ikke kan sies med ord – stillheten, lyset og det som beveger seg bak følelsene.

Paintings that found their new homes at this year’s Christmas fair 🩵 It means the world to me to see my art land with people who truly feel something when they look at it. Each piece carries its own story 🕊️🩵

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, felt the textures, and shared a moment with us. I’m so grateful for every conversation, every smile, and all the support 🙏🏼

Some people rest by doing nothing… 🧘🏼‍♀️
I rest by doing something gentle 🎨 Understand me right, I absolutely have my days on the couch. But painting has always been the place where my thoughts slow down, where the noise fades a little, and where my mind can finally relax and just exist in a quiet moment 💛 it gives me a kind of peace the TV never will…

Artists can relate 🎨

3 BIG paintings that make me go… 👀✨

🕊️✨«The Golden Bird»🕊️✨ 50x60cm

This painting carries the heart of my art universe. The golden bird is a symbol in my paintings that felt right instantly I discovered it. It represents hope, presence and quiet strength; a reminder that even in heavy moments, there is always a light that finds its way through. It’s softness with courage, movement with stillness, and the feeling of being guided even when the path is unclear.

I choose to paint the golden bird with real gold leaf (23,75k) because the message deserves something that can’t fade. True gold catches the light the way I want the story to shine: gently, but unmistakably. It adds warmth, depth and a quiet kind of luxury that aligns with everything I want my art to express.

My paintings often carry gold, but the golden bird and what it means is the golden heart of it all. Because it’s real 🕊️✨

Love to hear what you think 🙏🏼
