Blank Space is a resource center for visual art, and offers studio rentals, classes and workshops, produces gallery exhibitions and community opportunities for designers and artists in Oslo. We have a special focus on illustration, design, comic books, animation, game development, and printmaking, but welcome any creative from any field to enjoy our content. January Schedule at Blank Page! Have you booked your chair for the first croquis session yet? Our seasonal opening takes place on Tuesday January 6. Starting from January we’ve decided to lower drop-in prices at our drawing events from 150 to 80 NOK in order to make it more accessible for everybody. Aside from that there won’t be much new. We continue to hold classes at Urtegata 9, and it looks like we will be able to book the BIG room for the whole month of January! Hope to see many familiar faces at Tuesday 🧑‍🎨

⭐️ Thanks to all of you for drawing with us this fall/winter semester - whether it was joining us getting used to the new studios at Grønland, or the many weekend get-togethers we've had all over Oslo! Now we'll take a short Christmas break. The first life drawing session of the new year will take place on the first Tuesday - January 6! The first couple of events are already live for signup on our website. Hope to see many of you then! ⭐️

❗BIG UPDATE❗
Blank Page is moving! - From next Tuesday and going forward, all Tuesday drawing workshops will be held at the amazingly spacious and modern studios belonging to Høyskolen Kristiania at Urtegata 9, Grønland.

We will, of course, continue with the same workshop schedule, membership structure, and exciting workshops; from now on it is just bigger and better (and fewer stairs to deal with) :)

Finding the studio should be fairly straightforward with the instructions below, but do feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the workshops or the new location.

After two weeks of absence we’re finally back with drawing workshops this Tuesday! For the two remaining events in March we will be staying at the fourth floor loft studio that we also used for a brief period back in 2022. Since this space is smaller there will be a 20 ticket cap for each event meaning tickets could get sold out. So for now it is especially important to sign up to claim your seat before the event.
