HIRANG: A Sanctuary of Purpose, A Legacy of Grace
In the heart of Sitio Culasisi, Barangay San Luis, Antipolo City, a vision is unfolding; not merely of stone and soil, but of spirit and heritage. HIRANG Arts, Culture & Heritage Sanctuary is a 12 hectares self-sustaining haven currently under development, designed to be a living testament to the beauty of creation and the enduring strength of the Filipino soul.
The Meaning of HIRANG: Chosen by the Almighty
The name HIRANG carries a profound weight. In our tongue, it means chosen, dear, beloved, or appointed. It finds its deepest resonance in the Holy Scriptures, echoing the promise of 1 Peter 2:9: "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
HIRANG is more than a destination; it is an appointed space. Just as we are called to be stewards of our talents and history, this sanctuary is being built to honor the One who chose us first. It is a place where art meets altar, and where heritage meets Heaven.
A Seven-Year Journey of Faith
This is a grand, seven-year development project. Like the steady growth of a mustard seed, HIRANG is opening its gates section by section, inviting you to witness a masterpiece in progress.
Walk With Us
We believe that what is chosen by God is nurtured by time and faith. We invite you to be part of this unfolding story. As we develop this sanctuary piece by piece, we hope to create a space where every visitor feels like the Hirang; the beloved of God.
