Each piece captures the delicate balance of nature, reminding us that our lives remain deeply connected to the world around us.

Today, the world stands still in the shadow of the Cross. Good Friday is a day of profound contradiction—a day where we witness the height of human suffering alongside the depth of divine love. It is a day marked by silence, yet it speaks volumes about the cost of grace.

It is a day to reflect on what it means to love unconditionally and to serve sacrificially. The Cross is not just a symbol of the past; it is a testament to a love that meets us in our brokenness and whispers, "It is finished."

As the sun sets today, let us carry the weight of this day with reverence, knowing that while sorrow may linger for the night, it is paving the way for a joy that the world cannot take away.

The vibrant streets of Dumaguete City became a stage for pure talent from February 24 to 27, 2026, as the Carlos Hilado Memorial State University delegates shone bright at the RCAF 18 Regional Culture and the Arts Festival.

Ms. Roshel Ann Brillo delivered a captivating performance to secure 3rd place in the Dramatic Monologue (Filipino) category, while Mr. Renz Domingo rocked the scene to earn 3rd place in the Live Band competition.

Their artistic grit and passion brought honor to the institution and perfectly embodied the spirit of raising Artisans' pride and excellence. These victories highlight a week of immense dedication and creativity, proving once again that the Artisans are a force to be reckoned with on the regional stage.

From January 25 to 29, 2026, the CHMSU-Talisay campus turned into a vibrant canvas for the Alijis Campus Artisans as they transformed the Pagsulong 2026 Intercampus Competition into a masterpiece of "Sining at Galing."

With every visionary brushstroke and calculated line, Ajay, Krishia, Roshel, Jhon Ryan, and Kristine Joy did more than just compete; they pulsed with a creative energy that proved architectural drafting is as much about soul as it is about structure.

This was a full-throttle takeover of artistic pride. It showed the world that when these Artisans show up, they don't just follow a blueprint: they redefine the entire horizon of excellence.

Held on December 18 at the CHMSU–Alijis AVR, this day is more than a celebration—it is a reflection of our journey. From small ideas to meaningful creations, from individual talents to one united community, we honor the growth we’ve achieved, the traditions that shaped us, and the people who made everything possible.
