"Boundless: Art in Every Form"

Artist Statement
Boundless

Boundless is an invitation—to create without constraint, to explore without expectation, and to exist beyond the limits of a single form.

In this exhibit, we come together as artists working across jewelry, digital art, and painting, each medium carrying its own language, yet none confined by it. What unites us is not a singular style or narrative, but a shared impulse to explore—to move freely between material, process, and idea.

Here, jewelry becomes more than adornment; it transforms into narrative and identity. Digital art expands into limitless spaces shaped by imagination and technology. Paintings hold both stillness and motion, capturing what is seen, felt, and remembered. Each work is a reflection of an artist unbound—by medium, by expectation, and by definition.

Boundless embraces diversity not only in form, but in voice. It celebrates the intersections where disciplines meet, where tradition converses with innovation, and where personal stories unfold in unexpected ways.

In a world that often seeks to categorize, this exhibit resists containment. Instead, it offers a space where art exists as it is meant to be—fluid, evolving, and free.

This is Boundless: a convergence of expressions, a celebration of exploration, and a reminder that creativity knows no limits.

This ART EXHIBIT at the Baguio Museum is being hosted on its third installment of a regional art initiative titled "Harampang 3.0" at 2PM on April 8, 2026. This exhibit marks a meaningful milestone in our ongoing effort to foster cultural exchange with different regions, bringing together artists from Baguio and Eastern Visayas in a spirit of solidarity and shared purpose.

Leyte, Visayas successfully hosted the first two editions of Harampang, providing an inclusive platform for dialogue, mutual learning, and artistic expression. For this third iteration, we hope to bring the spirit of Harampang to Baguio City—enriching the experience with the depth of Cordilleran creativity and culture.

Rooted in the Waray term "harampang," which means“to meet, converse, and come together," the exhibition seeks to nurture meaningful relationships, promote cultural understanding, and cultivate a strong sense of camaraderie between artists and communities from both regions. Beyond the exhibit, we envision hosting parallel activities such as artist talks, sketching, and collaborative sessions that encourage further interaction and knowledge-sharing.

See you all! Unhan arte han Sinirangan Bisayas ngan Cordillera!

Vox Feminae: Her Voice, Our Future

Vox Feminae is a collective declaration—an unfolding chorus of women’s voices shaped by lived experience, quiet resilience, and bold imagination.

In this exhibit, we come together not as a single narrative, but as many: layered, diverse, and deeply personal perspectives on what it means to move through the world as female today.

Our works speak of becoming—of navigating expectations, claiming space, healing inherited wounds, and envisioning futures we are still in the process of building. Some pieces whisper of struggle and survival; others radiate strength, joy, and transformation. Together, they form a tapestry of voices that refuse to be silenced, simplified, or confined.

This exhibit is not only about identity—it is about agency. It is about the power of women and young girls to define themselves, to challenge the boundaries placed before them, and to shape the societies they inhabit. Each artwork stands as both testimony and invitation: to listen more deeply, to see more fully, and to imagine a world where every woman’s voice is heard and valued.

Vox Feminae reminds us that when women speak, they do not speak alone. Their voices echo forward—shaping communities, influencing generations, and forging the future we all share.

CHANUM FOUNDATION, INC.

During the years when the entire City of Baguio was still grazing land for large herds of cattle, Pinsao, location of the Tam-awan Village was one vast pastureland. A spring beside Tam-awan is the source of a body of water that once served as a watering hole for cattle. Thus, the place became associated with chanum, which in Ibaloi, means water. Adopting the name to symbolize its vision, Chanum Foundation, Inc. views its role to be as nurturing and life-giving as the spring in Tam-awan Village.

More than a showcase of indigenous craftsmanship, the foundation envisions the Tam-awan Village as an ideal venue for art and cultural activities aimed to enhance the appreciation of Cordillera life, its culture and its history. This is by raising awareness and appreciation of Cordillera culture, preserving Cordillera heritage and promoting cultural and economic empowerment in the Cordilleras.

THE FOUNDATION AIMS TO:

  • Promote community awareness on the intergenerational responsibility of the people to preserve and conserve our patrimony, the environment and our cultural heritage;
