🎨 GET TO KNOW OUR FACILITATOR, MR. MARLO CENIDOZA 🎨

“Art must be the embodiment of our personal experiences, ideology, and emotions. When I paint, I always find myself emotional before, during, and after the painting process. Because for me, Painting is my emotional outlet and it is the only time when I can show my vulnerability. The color palette in my paintings is the representation of my continuous life journey as a person and as an artist; and this is the reason why I love Realism as my focus theme and style because it reflects what is currently happening in my surroundings— the good and bad. This is how my persona – Malayang Sining was born, to represent that art is liberating.”

A true freelance visual artist, Mr. Marlo Cenidoza mostly specializes in oil painting that focuses in realism, also adept in the mediums acrylic, pen and ink, soft pastel, graphite, and charcoal. His skills were honed at the CREATE Program in CASA San Miguel, San Antonio, Zambales where he was mentored by Taj Tadeo , Alynnah Macla, Carlo Gabuco, Marc Cosico, and other resident visual artists of the institution. His works were exhibited in different places such as Zambales, Pampanga, Manila. Laguna, and Rizal. Aside from exhibiting artworks, Marlo also
teaches young visual artists as workshop facilitator in different private and government institutions as part of giving back to the art community that honed his skills.

Let's all celebrate Binondo Day and enjoy creating our own artistic designs on the Tote Bags through the "Art Day in Binondo: Furtrait Tote Bag Painting Workshop with Mr. Marlo Ceñidoza on March 29, 2026, 2:00 pm, at Meisic Gallery, Chinatown Museum, 4F Imperial Wing, Lucky Chinatown Mall, Binondo, Manila.

🍵GET TO KNOW OUR FACILITATOR, MR. KD "TEATO KD" YU 🍵

"The warmth of home, the traditions we keep alive, and the love that flows through generations in something as simple as sharing tea."

Mr. KD Yu, or more fondly known as "TeaTo KD" was raised by traditional Chinese-Filipino parents who introduced him to tea drinking at a young age. His fascination with this ancient beverage deepened as he encountered diverse tea cultures.
He is a certified Tea Sommelier and a graduate of the Tea Tasting and Blending Masterclass at the Asian School of Tea in India, where he now also serves as a training partner representing the Philippine Chapter. He is additionally a trained Chinese Tea Taster and an ambassador for Kyoto Obubu Tea Farms in Japan, where he completed his tea farm internship. Today, he passionately promotes tea drinking in the Philippines as a healthy and calming way of life.

We are truly delighted to have him as our tea master for "Traditions and Conversations in Tea Culture". Let's learn more and converse with him on March 28, 2026, 1:00 pm, at Meisic Gallery, Chinatown Museum, 4F Imperial Wing, Lucky Chinatown Mall, Binondo Manila.
