From a vision of compassion to a stage where dreams take flight.

Melody of Longing
Written by Venerable Yung Guang

Through the guidance of Venerable Master Hsing Yun, young Cebuano artists were given the opportunity to discover their voices, nurture their talents, and bring stories of wisdom to life through Siddhartha The Musical and Star and Cloud The Musical. More than performances, these became journeys of growth, purpose, and faith in the beauty of human potential.

As we approach March 20, 2026, we prepare our hearts for a deeply meaningful moment. The enshrinement of our Founding Master’s relics at Fo Guang Shan Mabuhay Temple stands as a symbol of his enduring presence among us.

Though cultures may differ, his vision remains clear. The Philippines is a fertile ground for the flourishing of Humanistic Buddhism, where art, faith, and humanity come together as one, guided by compassion and wisdom that continue to inspire generations.

60 Years of Passing the Lamp Honoring a 100-Year Legacy

Faith in Humanistic Buddhism propagated by Venerable Master Hsing Yun and disciples is to reach out to benefit society and to serve people while free own self from attachment and delusion. This is our practice of Humanistic Buddhism; enlightening self and others, benefiting self and others, helping self and others.

60 Years of Passing the Lamp Honouring a 100-Year Legacy

With grateful prostration, thank you Venerable Master for including us in the establishment of temples in city centre. We google and can find FGS where we take pilgrimage or attend weekly Dharma Service. Everything is so familiar wherever we will be. I renounced my blood-tied household and found my Dharma-affiliated home, thus broadening my view on being a global citizen 地球人.

Your blessing bestowed upon your disciples as the Buddha's Light shines boundlessly, the Dharma water flows endlessly.
