In celebration of National Heritage Month, the Sugbu Chinese Heritage Museum proudly presents an Augmented Reality Exhibition inspired by the life of Don Pedro Singson Gotiaoco.

Blending art, history, and technology, the exhibit follows the journey of a young Chinese immigrant navigating identity, resilience, and belonging while helping shape the cultural landscape of Cebu. Through immersive and interactive storytelling, visitors are invited to experience history in a new and engaging way.

As part of the celebration, the Sugbu Chinese Heritage Museum continues to offer a special ₱50 admission rate from May 8 to May 30, 2026. It’s the perfect chance to explore the stories and heritage of Cebu’s Chinese-Filipino community at a more accessible rate.

The museum is open every Friday to Sunday, so whether you’re visiting with friends, bringing the family, planning a school trip, or simply looking for somewhere meaningful to spend the day, we’d love to welcome you.

The Sugbu Chinese Heritage Museum is open every Fridays to Sundays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Spend the day exploring the stories, traditions, and history of Cebu’s Chinese-Filipino community through our galleries and collections.

Planning to visit with a big group or schedule a tour outside regular museum hours? Advance booking is required for group tours with a minimum of 50 guests. Send us a message through our social media accounts or email us for more details and inquiries.

On Labor Day, we recognize the generations whose hard work and resilience shaped the growth of Cebu City. Among them are Cebuano-Chinese pioneers whose contributions in trade, craftsmanship, and enterprise helped strengthen both community and culture.

Today, that same spirit of perseverance lives on across all Filipinos, carried in everyday work, quiet sacrifices, and the drive to move forward together.

Only open to college students in Tourism, Anthropology, Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Multimedia Arts, Film, History, Education, Business, and related fields. Other courses are welcome, especially those eager to learn and explore new spaces!
